how to make boerewors
Ingredients
- 1kg beef
- 1kg Lean pork
- 1kg Lamb or mutton
- ½ Kg Bacon
- 2 Tablespoon table or sea salt
- 1 Tablespoon of coriander
- ½ A teaspoon of nutmeg powder
- ½ Of brown vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves
- 200g Sausage casings
Instructions
- So First of you need to get all of the meat and put it in a cube.
- Then place the coriander in a deep frying pan.
- Stir it till it turns brown then Break it up in the pan.
- Then poor all the meat and dry spices into a bowl.
- Then add the vinegar to the bowl.
- Then leave the mixture to marinate in the fridge for 2-4 hours.
- After the 2-4 hours has passed soak the sausages casing in water.
- Now fill them with your boerewors minturer using the sausage maker.
