My Christmas Poem

One fateful day everyone comes out to play
Then they all go to the tree and then you know it's christmas day
The birds are chirping the trees are swaying
All the boys and girls are playing

But in the old day the only thing you got was clay

Create task

Hello and well come back to my blog today I will talk to you about my create task for this week. So what we did was we were given a holiday and an article about the holiday. I got a Jewish Holiday called Hanukkah we needed to talk about what we all ready know about it then we read the article and then write down what we learnt. Then we put down questions and links to articles that answers my questions here is what I put.

I do not know much but I know it is a holiday and I would like to learn about it’s food and why they celebrate it and who celebrates it.

Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday. They put up these candle holders that hold up 9 candles and they are called hanukkiah. They also play this spinning top game which is the shape of a square on all four sides it has symbols symbols and you place bets on which symbol you think it will land on then you spin it.

Do they eat anything other than deep fried food?

Is there a specific day for Hanukkah?

Is there any other games they play?

Why does the candle holder hold 9 candles

Watership down

Hello and welcome back to my blog today I will talk to you about a book I am reading called Watership down. So a few days ago I went down to this outdoor sculpture thing and there were lot of sculptures but they also had a book shop. So me and my sisters went to the book shop and we looked through it and I found the book Watership down I new about it before because of this movie review I watched of it. So we went of to look at more sculptures and then we came back to the book shop and it was still the so I got it and a cup of chips.

When we got home I started reading so the two main characters called Hazel and Fiver, Fiver knows when a bad event is going to happen so when Hazel and Fiver go to the hills and Fiver thinks that there is blood rushing down the hill he senses something really really bad so they need to escape with some other bunnies there names are. Bigwig, Pipkin, Dandelion, Silver, Blackberry and some others. So far I am on chapter 10 and I am really enjoy it, and believe it or not in the original movie there is a lot of blood so I rate it 10+ even though the original movie was PG. I hope you enjoyed my blog. Have you ever read Watership down.

Camp Blog

Hello and welcome back to my blog so today I will talk to you about my experience with the YMCA camp. So last week we went to school camp and I am going to sum it up for you in this blog.

-Challenging
Here are some of the activates that I found challenging. High ropes because I am scared of heights and you went really high up in the air than you would need to jump down. Costearing I found costearing difficult because it was really windy and it was super cold.

-Learnt
Here are some of the things I learnt on camp. I learnt how to make a stretch for people that are injured, I learnt it at search and rescue. I also learnt about a lot of new trees, like flammable ones edible ones and the pepper tree, I learnt this at out door living.

-Favourite part
Here are some of my favourite activates we did on camp. High ropes I know I said that I was scared of heights but I still enjoyed this one lots. Out door living I liked this one because we made shelters and learnt about different types of trees.

-Grateful
Now I am going to list some of the stuff that I am great full for. Money put into camp, the activates, food, water, the people who made the food, the instructors, the teachers. And Basically all of camp, I really enjoyed it and I hope you get to go to it one day.
